Stacy Wayne World Famous Elvis Impersonator
At the age of eighteen Stacey was talked into going to a community jam night and was forced to sing an Elvis song. The audience liked it and he liked it (a ham was born)! Then he met Big Jack Armstrong. Big Jack asked if he would be interested in singing at KOOL 104.3's listener appreciation party .They had such good response that he became kind of a KOOL staple, singing at the Halloween Fall Ball, KOOL Senior Prom and the KOOL Years Eve parties.. This gave him the opportunity to perform at the same venues with some of the greatest legends in rock music, guys like Paul Revere and the Raiders, Bobby Vee, The Tokens, The Boxtops, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, Tommy Roe and the list goes on. Since then he has performed in Vegas, Tahoe, Reno and the Grand Ole Oprey Jam Show. Aside from being a stellar performing artist he has a lot of things in common vwith the king such as they were both born on January 8th, they both have o positive blood, they both were inducted into the army on March 24th and discharged at Fort Dix on March 5th and they both have the same original hair color (strawberry blonde). He has performed with or opened for all of the following people: Paul Revere and the Raiders, Tommy Roe, Bobby Vee, Bill Hayley's Original Comets, The Buckinghams Peggy March, Chiffons, Dodie Stevens, The Boxtops, and Hyland just to name a few.
The 504 Plan
A local favorite The 504 Plan offers a variety of classic rock hits, they are becoming known as one of Idaho's foremost cover bands. The 504 Plan started as a teacher band called "Old School" that played to support a "Battle of the Bands" event at a local high school. Original band member Dale Garrard, Layne Ward, and Nathan Owen took a summer to think about it and started practicing with Brian Clark and Dan. In 2004 they changed the name to The 504 Plan which is a technical evaluation term used by teachers still today. They have been a part of the Apple Blossom Festival for the last four years and enjoy coming here just as much as we love having them. Kinetic Karma
Kinetic Karma" formed in 2007 and released their first album in 2008 under the name "Brother Wind" and have since added a player and a whole new dimension to their music. Kinetic Karma mixes styles from raw 60's and 70's rock to the heavier pop of the nineties and with a spattering of techno this quartet combine to write and perform rich energetic and poignant musical compositions. But what do they sound like? Well, many have suggested that they sounds a bit like "Toad the Wet Sprocket" with elements of "U2" and even a bit of "Maroon Five" in the mix. They have been a part of the Apple Blossom Festival for the last three years. They are the essence of local talent with a twist.
